Andy was from the outset engaged with and attentive of our needs, and requests for capturing our wedding. He was friendly and professional throughout. He took some wonderful photos, perfectly posed ones, and plenty of candid shots that captured all the smiles and dancing, We could not be happier, and are both really glad we went with Andy Allan.

Going Above and Beyond

Providing unique and creative images are all part of my approach to wedding photography.
By using a variety of techniques such as off-camera flash, slow shutter speeds and low light exposures, you get something unique to you and your special day.

Andy captured our wedding day with grace and creativity. He made everyone feel at ease while capturing all the best moments, including the little ones. We have a mix of portraits, candid and detail shots, all of which are spectacular. We are so grateful and recommend him highly to anyone looking for a quality wedding photographer in Scotland.

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME AND HOW I WORK..

Wedding photography is personal. For me, getting to know the couple and hearing their story is one of the most important steps to capturing the energy and the magic of a wedding. So I would like to introduce myself, and tell you a bit about how I work.

So why wedding photography?

I am a romantic at heart. I have never lived down the day I struggled to keep the tears back at a friend’s wedding. The truth is I absolutely love weddings. Witnessing two people commit their lives to each other in front of their loved ones gets me every time.

I met my wife in the Park Bar in Glasgow. She now says that I don’t know when to leave a party. But when the music is playing and the craic is flowing, I am at my happiest. A wedding is about the couple, but it is also about loved ones coming together to share in a special occasion.

As a wedding photographer I get to meet so many characters, young and old. Catching the fleeting interactions and authentic emotions of a wedding is what my photography is all about.
