Over The Sea From Skye
Positioned on the North West coast of Scotland, Applecross boasts not only beautful landmarks but views over to the Isle of Skye.
Whilst by road it may be a bit of a drive, from Applecross you can have the ‘Misty Isle’ as your backdrop during your elopement.
There are endless viewpoints in the area to take advantage of whether you want to be up on the hills with elevated views or down by the shoreline at sea level.

The Bealach na Bà (Scottish Gaelic for ‘The Pass of the Cattle’) is a famous road pass that links the small village of Lochcarron to Applecross.
The views from this road looking down the Glen towards Loch Kishorn are spectacular and show off the single track road winding down the hills.
It has plenty of viewpoints and there are several photographic opportunities including small lochs, waterfalls and cliff edges.
The reason I suggest this as a possible ceremony spot is that if you want to have breathtaking Mountains in your scenery, then this has it without having to put on any hill walking boots.

It’s located on the main shorefront in the village and has lovely views over the sea to Skye. It also has lots of outdoor space should the weather be in your favour.
Applecross Community Hall
This local village hall is probably more suited to a larger wedding as oppose to just the two of you but if you’re considering having a number of guests with you then this could be a great wee venue to celebrate
Hartfield House
If you’d rather have a more formal ceremony indoors then Hartfield House is definately for you. With plenty of accomodation options it suits couples who maybe plan on bringing some friends with them to celebrate. See local links at foot of page for more info.

When you book me as your photographer, you’re not just getting stunning images—you’re gaining a trusted partner who will be there every step of the way. I’ll make your day as seamless and special as possible.
Here’s a rough run down of how Andy will work with you..
Initial Enquiry Zoom Call
We’ll start with a friendly Zoom call to go over all the details—your plans, locations, style preferences, and any special moments you want captured. This ensures I’m fully aligned with your vision for the day. It also gives you the chance to meet me so to speak ahead of making any decisions and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions surrounding your Highland elopement plans and dreams.
Itinerary
Once we’ve established what sort of elopement you and your partner would like I will then create a rough itinerary of how the experience will take shape.
This will include locations, timings and some suggestions of where to start and what to do. Itineraries are really important so that you both know what to expect. This will be completely editable so you will have the chance to ammend anything that you want. Once you’re happy with the plan it will then be a case of paying a deposit to secure the date and my services.
Meeting & Transportation
On your big day, I’ll arrange to meet you at a location that works for you, whether it’s your accommodation, a scenic spot, or somewhere meaningful to you both. I can also drive you to your ceremony location or shuttle you to different spots throughout the day if you’re looking to do a few photo sessions at various locations. Just let me know if you’d like transportation included in your quote.
Flexible Session Lengths
I offer 1.5-hour, 3-hour, and 5-hour packages, but I’m also happy to customize your session to meet your needs. If you want to extend your time with me for more coverage, we can easily arrange that too!

Final Edited Photos
Depending on the time of year an how busy I am, you can expect to receive a professionally edited gallery with all your stunning images, ready for you to enjoy and share within around 6-8 weeks from your elopement date.
Copyright & Sharing
You’ll share the copyright of the photos, meaning you can print, use, and display them however you like, without any restrictions other than the images can’t be used for commercial purposes unless discussed in advance.
