Born in Inverness in 1976, Andy grew up in the rural setting of
Drumnadrochit by the banks of Loch Ness.
Following a somewhat mispent youth in his teens at Glenurquhart High School, he finally got his act together and began thinking about a future career and so began studying for his Highers.
He gained Higher Art & Design, English and Craft & Design earning him a move to the East Coast and to Aberdeen where he went on to study Graphic Design for three cash-strapped years before completing his HND in 1996.
He then returned home and took residence in Inverness where he spent the next couple of years working for companies such as Signs by Sirocco, The Design Mill and One Stop Print & Design.
Andy then decided in 1999 to move to Glasgow to further his experience and soon found work as a Graphic Designer in the Southside of the City.
It was during this time that Andy turned his attention back to his creative abilities in illustration and photography. He began drawing regularly again and had soon bought his first digital camera after many years refusing to ‘give in to the digital era’.
(He later admitted he should have gone digital a lot earlier.)
Over the years Andy has fine-tuned his creativity and has become a unique and talented creative. His versatility means he can easily adapt to suit the requirements of the client.
A creative with abundant skills in a variety of disciplines coupled with a very friendly, easy going personality makes him a very approachable character indeed.
